CAIRO: Document Check-In

When you work on a document it is "checked-out" to let others use know you are working on it and to prevent them making changes at the same time.

When you have finished your work you mist "check-in" the document so that it can be read, published and so on.

Select Check-In from the main menu to see this form:

At the top of the screen you see three search fields, Select Committee, Select Date and Free Text. These help you find files if you have many documents checked out. You use them in the same way as Finding Files.

Below this you see a list of files you have checked-out. You can mark one or more documents for check-in by clicking on the checkbox next to each document. Select the Training for... document (so an "X" appears in the checkbox). Click on Check-In.

Shows the document(s) have been checked in. You can now click on Continue or select a different menu option.
