CAIRO: Document Security


Cairo has the ability to mark documents as confidential - with restricted access. Normally this is done when you create a document, but you can also apply - or remove - confidentiality after a document is created.

From the main menu select Document Options, Security to see this form:

The top section uses the standard Find Documents fields. The lower section allows you to select one or more documents to modify. Select documents by clicking the checkbox to the left of each document.

Select the checkboxes for the documents you want to change and click Confidential to apply security or Public to remove it.

Confidential documents are never published to the public web site and can only be seen by users with confidential security access.
