CAIRO: Using the Remote Control

The "remote control" lets you choose options from the Cairo menu. The options you need most frequently are displayed on the top level menu, but other menus for advanced options and administration are also available. Here are the three most important menu screens.

Your menu may not quite look like this, or you may not have all menu options. Some options are only displayed for particular users or when you have particular security access.

  • The Main Menu covers the standard document options you need.
  • Document Options includes advanced settings for documents.
  • The Administration Menu is for less used Admin functions.
  • The System menu is only available to system operators for system functions
  • The Reports menu is only available to system operators for reviewing the system status

You can click on any menu action at any time to CANCEL what you are currently doing and move to another action.

That CANCEL is important. Even if you have filled in some form data, if you select another menu button then any changes you have made will be lost.
