Most Local Authorities in 1997 knew they needed to get on the web quickly, but were also aware that they did not have the in-house skills to get there. Centreline 2000 helped a number of these authorities create their presence on the web early.
Centreline 2000 works with the authority and the one or more departments involved within the organisation to build a theme and structure built to meet what is usually a broad need. Working on the principle that LG sites are supposed to be informative and useful to the constituents Centreline 2000 builds high speed sites, that can be navigated easily and quickly. Recognising that LG sites are not games and don't need "modern art" design, we use our long running programming skills in building sites that work. Careful use of graphics adds interest and aids use, but should not interfere with the smooth running of the site.
